Bell Tower kit & packaging
A flat-pack model made for Southern Utah University, with illustrated instructions and packaging built for a small production run.

Making a kit someone could build
This was a custom job for Southern Utah University. Connor Cook designed the tower and its interlocking geometry in Fusion. I handled the cut-file preparation and laser production, then made the instructions, packaging, and product photos.
The tower assembles without glue or tools. The instructions needed to make that process understandable to someone seeing the parts for the first time. I turned engineering drawings into a numbered assembly guide with part callouts.
Packaging on a small-run budget
Custom die-cut packaging was difficult to justify for the size of the run. We used floor protection board instead: it was inexpensive, available in rolls, and could be cut and scored with a large vinyl cutter.
A pen plotter applied the artwork with a fine-line Sharpie. That gave us a way to produce the packaging in-house, with a finish that suited the kit.
The finished work
The deliverables included laser-cut kit cards, an illustrated instruction booklet, folded packaging, and product photography. This project brought together the practical work of manufacturing a product and explaining it to its eventual user.
